How a locksmith job runs in Work Flow Trade

  1. 1

    Take the callout

Create the job in seconds from the schedule. If you’ve switched on customer notifications, the customer gets an “on the way” text or email.

  2. 2

    Get someone there

Check the live map for the nearest tracked locksmith, drag the job onto their day, and their phone gets the address and notes.

  3. 3

Time and hardware on the job

Start a job timer on arrival and record the cylinder, blanks or lockset from your stock list, so it all reaches the invoice.

  4. 4

    Record what you fitted

Add the hardware to the site’s equipment list (make, model, photos, documents), so the next visit, or the property manager, knows what’s on each door.

  5. 5

    Invoice from the job

The invoice builds itself from the job’s hours and parts. Connect Stripe and the customer can pay by card online.

Why locksmiths choose Work Flow Trade

Locksmithing is callout work on top of booked work, with expensive small parts going out the door all day. Work Flow Trade was built to run our own commercial services business day to day, and door hardware is part of that work. The loop it handles well is the one you run every day: take the call, get the nearest locksmith there, record the time and the hardware, and invoice from the job. For commercial clients and property managers, each site keeps a record of what's fitted, and they can see their own history in the portal. It's $50+GST a month for the whole business, with no per-user fees.
